One of the newest services offered by Tech Solutions is motorized shading. We have recently completed multiple shading projects around the Cedar Rapids area. Here are a few of our completed projects.
Toyota Cedar Rapids
The Cedar Rapids Toyota implemented Motorized Shading Technology to help eliminate the harsh glare and the intense heat brought in by the large windows. In both the sales room and the service center the shades move simultaneously with the push of a button.
The Metropolitan
The Metropolitan in downtown Cedar Rapids, worked with us to implement motorized and manual shades in Apartment 603, along with manual shades throughout 2nd-5th floor. The fabric for these particular installations had a “white backing” feature, which helps absorb and block heat, and also allowed each tenant to choose their fabric color while still keeping the outside view the same.
MidAmerican Aerospace
MidAmerican Aerospace had awnings on their building which were not enough coverage when the sun changed position each season. They implemented manual shades throughout their office with exposed rolls to match the architecture of the building.
